STATERA 2.0
The next chapter of our robotics journey is here. Join us on March 26–27 for bigger challenges, deeper learning, and an even more exciting hands-on engineering experience.

STATERA 2.0 | JU's premiere and most demanded hands-on workshop
Hardware. Code. Community.
There is a specific kind of magic in watching something you built come to life. Statera 2.0 isn't just another workshop: it's a two-day deep dive into the world of robotics, where we turn raw components into intelligent machines.
📍 The Quick Start
- The Project: Build and program your own high precision Robotic Arm and control it with a physical twin.
- The Link: Register Now 🚀
- The Vibe: No boring lectures. Just hands-on building, troubleshooting, and making things move.
🛠 Beyond the Hardware
While the robotics part is the main event, we know that a long day of building needs more than just wires and code.
What's in it for you?
- The Statera Kit: A custom-curated robotics kit for every team.
- The Swag: Exclusive JUMTC stickers and goodies to deck out your laptop.
- Fuel: Foods and refreshments to keep the gears turning.
- Recognition: Certificates that actually mean something in the world of mechatronics.
- The Network: Meet people who are just as obsessed with "how things work" as you are.
🤖 The Main Attraction: The Build
We’re going to help you bridge the gap between "I want to build a robot" and "I just built a robot."
We’ll start with the basics of mechanical assembly and move all the way to controlling precision servos with code. By the end of the session, your arm won't just be a static model—it’ll be a functioning piece of engineering capable of interacting with the physical world. And guess what? You will be building a physical twin of the arm to control it. Move the twin as you want, and the arm moves.

💬 Everything You’re Wondering
-
“I’ve never touched a microcontroller in my life. Can I still join?” Honestly, that’s the best time to start. Statera is built for the curious, not just the experts. We’ve designed the workshop so you can go from "what is this wire?" to "look, it’s moving!" in a single weekend. You won't be left behind.
-
“Is it just going to be hours of sitting in a chair?” Not a chance. We’re big on the "learn-by-doing" vibe. Most of your time will be spent actually assembling hardware, troubleshooting code, and probably having a few "aha!" moments with the people at your table.
-
“Do I need to bring a whole toolkit?” Nope. Just bring your laptop and a charger. We’ll provide the kits, the components, the screwdrivers, and everything else needed to bring your robotic arm to life.
-
“What about the goodies? I heard there’s swag.” You heard right. Every participant gets the custom Statera 2.0 kit, but we’ve also got exclusive stickers and some JUMTC merch to deck out your gear. Plus, we’ll keep you fueled with plenty of snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
-
“Can I come alone or do I need a team?” Both work! If you have a crew, great. If you’re coming solo, you’ll meet plenty of people who are into the same stuff you are. It’s a community event, so making new friends is part of the package.
-
“What happens if my code just... doesn’t work?” That’s literally why we’re all here. Troubleshooting is 90% of engineering. There will be plenty of us walking around to help you figure out why that servo isn't turning or why your logic is looping. We’ll get it working together.
