CONTROL CRAFT 2024
Debuting at Srijan Tech Fest '24, Control Craft challenged teams to engineer robots for unpredictable terrain and high-precision pick-and-place tasks. A flagship event where fluid control and robust hardware were the keys to victory.

Control Craft is the premier robotics competition introduced during Srijan Tech Fest '24, organized by the Jadavpur University Mechatronics Club (JUMTC). As a flagship event, it brought together students passionate about robotics to test their skills in building and manually controlling robots in challenging, real-world-inspired scenarios.

The core objective required participating teams to design a robust robot capable of seamlessly traversing highly difficult and unpredictable terrains. Beyond mobility, teams were required to integrate a custom-built pick-and-place robotic arm.

Teams demonstrated precision and fluid control by successfully picking up specific objects, transporting them safely across the rugged course, and placing them accurately at targeted locations.
