EQUILIBRIX 2025
Equilibrix challenged participants to build a two-wheeled robot that could travel while balancing a cup of sand. The event saw creative attempts, surprising failures, and impressive breakthroughs, giving participants a fun yet demanding hands-on experience. The top three teams were awarded a ₹6000 prize pool on stage.
This year at Srijan witnessed the launch of an exciting new event,Equilibrix inspired by the concepts explored in the Statera workshop. After mastering the fundamentals of balancing a bot, participants were challenged to push their skills further: design a two-wheeled robot capable of traveling a set distance while balancing a cup of sand on top.
The arena buzzed with energy as teams experimented with innovative ideas, clever mechanisms, and rapid-fire iterations. Some bots struggled to move beyond the starting line, some made progress but lost balance under the shifting sand, and a few sped ahead only to topple as the sandy stretch arrived. Every attempt brought both thrill and anticipation, keeping the audience engaged throughout.
Despite the difficulties, the event offered participants a hands-on, high-engagement learning experience, one they described as uniquely challenging and fun.
The excitement peaked when the Top 3 teams were awarded on stage, receiving a prize pool of ₹6000 for their engineering ingenuity.
Equilibrix proved to be a refreshing and dynamic addition to the Srijan lineup, leaving participants keen for its return in future editions.
