STATERA 1.0
Sold out in 3 days! Statera 1.0 marked the revival of robotics workshops at JU. Students tackled real-world mechatronics, from PID control to hardware assembly, in this high-impact, two-day event.

The JU Mechatronics Club (JUMTC) successfully organized Statera 1.0, a two-day hands-on robotics workshop held on 15th and 16th February, 2025. The workshop focused on guiding participants through the process of building a self-balancing bot, thus covering concepts in electronics, PID, control systems, sensors, and embedded programming.
Statera 1.0 has a special place in JU’s technical calendar as it was the first robotics-focused workshop on campus in the last 10 years. The excitement around the event was evident, with all seats filled within just three days of opening registrations.
The workshop provided enthusiatic students with practical exposure, team-based learning, and a strong introduction to real-world mechatronics applications, thus setting the stage for more robotics-driven initiatives in the future.
